Location, location, location. Beautiful beachfront Bungalow, just steps to the beach. Two bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. Full kitchen, Wi-Fi, cable TV. Private and secluded for that perfect beach getaway.

The Space

Rare property, you can't get much closer to the beach than this without getting wet!

Unique home, just steps from the beach! Located in a tiny complex of only 5 bungalow units, this one is the closest to the beach. Open up the door and see the dunes with a gate to the beach at the end of the patio. This corner unit has a grassy yard area shaded by coconut palms. 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, full kitchen with washer and dryer. Living room and kitchen each have a set of French doors which open up onto the large patio, making the house expand seamlessly into the outdoors. Has central AC, a rarity in this area, and a generator in case of power outage. You can't get any closer to the beach than this!

Guest Access

Guests have one parking space inside the gated area. Grassy yard with day beds. Direct access to the beach, right outside your door.

The Neighborhood

Several good restaurants are within a 10 to 12 minute walk down the beach, or a very short car ride away. Other restaurants are within a 5 minute drive. Grocery shopping, more great restaurants and the Aguadilla (BQN) airport are all within a 10 minute drive. This is a great, laid back area that is very outdoor/beach/water-sports oriented. The area is safe and the people are friendly, with a good mix of locals, "ex-pats", and tourists. It is tourist friendly, without being "touristy".

Getting Around

Renting a car is the ideal way of getting around, public transportation is limited and expensive. A taxi ride from the BQN airport costs about $30 each way. Once you arrive, however, there are 2 small stores and a few restaurants within walking distance, so you could get by without a car as long as you don't mind staying close to home.

Other Things to Note

While the beach right outside the bungalow is beautiful and perfect for beach combing, walking, or sunbathing, it is not always swim-able. In summer the water is typically calmer, but in the winter months the water can be rough. Often you can find a tidepool on the beach that is protected from the rougher waves and a great spot for wading and playing in the water. An easy, 10 minute walk down the beach brings you to popular Jobos beach, which is sandy and usually good for swimming, snorkeling and surfing. A short walk in the other direction takes you to Shack's beach, which is less populated and features some of the best snorkeling in the whole area. If you don't like walking, driving to the beaches takes only 2 or 3 minutes. Other popular area beaches are within a 10 to 15 minute drive, including Crashboat beach (15 minutes), Wilderness, Borinquen and Surfers (10 minutes), and Middles and Montones beaches (5 minutes).
